Penny Hackett is President of Dying with Dignity NSW. The organisation played a crucial role in advocating for the introduction of voluntary assisted dying laws, which were passed by the New South Wales Parliament last year.
Penny has worked as a lawyer in the financial services and banking industries for over 25 years. She has been involved in the not-for-profit sector for more than a decade, particularly the areas of public education funding and student capacity in public schools. She has also held executive positions with both the Voluntary Euthanasia Party and Reason Party, and has been heavily involved in state and federal election campaigns.
