Abigail Boyd is a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. She is the NSW Greens spokesperson for a number of portfolios, including: Treasury, Finance and Economy, Industry, Jobs and Trade; Work Health and Safety; Energy and Just Transitions; Disability Rights and Inclusion; and Gendered Violence and Abuse.
Prior to entering parliament in 2019, she worked as a lawyer in global banking regulation for more than 20 years.
She is a strong advocate of secularism in the New South Wales Parliament, having previously introduced motions to replace daily prayer rituals with more appropriate practices.
