Author and commentator Jane Caro is “really, really looking forward” to MC-ing the first Secularism Australia Conference.
In a video on social media, Jane, an ardent supporter of secularism, especially in education, said she would be heavily involved in the conference being held on Saturday 2 December in Sydney.
“I think a secular Australia is really important… We really need to keep religion separate from government, because people have many faiths and of course many of us have no faith at all. And, therefore, faith is a personal thing, really, not a public and governance thing.”
We’re excited to have @JaneCaro joining us for the first Secularism Australia Conference on 2nd Dec in Sydney. Jane, an ardent supporter of #secularism, especially in education, will MC the event. Find out more: https://t.co/TDtWt7qsr9#SecularismAustralia #auspol pic.twitter.com/QDhyZ8Dymi
